The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Rocky Mountain Chapter is a community of interior design champions dedicated to advancing the industry through advocacy, cultivation and celebration.
Interior Design laws assist in establishing and maintaining professional standards that protect the health, safety and welfare of the general public.
IIDA firmly believes that legal recognition, achieved through licensing, registration and certification brings uniformity to the profession, defines responsibility, provides accountability, increases the quality of client services and choices and encourages excellence in the Interior Design industry.

Rocky Mountain Reverie is a fashion journey that pays homage to the multifaceted essence of the Rocky Mountains, blending elements of architecture, community, culture, landscape, history and design into a seamless narrative. The runway becomes a stage where past and present converge, showcasing the unique spirit and diversity of this iconic region.
DEN Arts is excited to present this exhibition in collaboration with the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Rocky Mountain Chapter. This organization hosts a fashion show called Prêt-À-Porter every other year in the Denver area. The selections on display here are from the 2024 edition of this signature event. Where “finish meets fashion,” Prêt-À-Porter is Colorado’s main stage event for the culmination of architecture, design and inspiring ready to wear fashion.
Local firms that work in the built environment (i.e. interior design, construction, furniture dealerships and student groups) are paired with manufacturers to create the stunning garments included in this exhibition. The materials used in the pieces came from the partner companies. While some material categories are of a nature that will not allow them to be made into wearable fashion without other “connective” pieces, the garments must clearly feature the manufacturer’s products. The garments must be fabricated with 80% of the manufacturer’s material. To receive additional consideration from the judges, a portion of the designs may incorporate sustainable materials with attributes such as high-recycled content, third party certifi cation or low volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
Enjoy this fashionable display of winning garments, designed and crafted by our local Rocky Mountain design community, represented in this exhibition by Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering and Construction (IdAEC) professionals.
