TONIGHT: DEN Trains to the Concourses to Undergo Scheduled Overnight Shutdown. Bridge Security will be the 24-hour Checkpoint starting at 8 p.m.

DEN trains to the concourses will be shut down overnight for six hours for scheduled testing of the train’s electrical power system. Employees and passengers will need use Bridge Security, which will be the 24-hour checkpoint starting at 8 p.m. Starting at 9:15 p.m., those who need to reach the B and C concourses will be guided via signage and/or airport personnel to a bus that will take them to the concourses. These changes will be in effect from 9:15 p.m. Feb. 20, to 3 a.m., Feb. 21. It is recommended that passengers who need to get to the B and C Concourses during these hours should arrive to security at least 30 minutes earlier than they would have otherwise to ensure they have enough time to move through the airport.

GETTING TO AND FROM

Public Bus or Train (RTD)

Public transportation options in the metro area are provided by the Regional Transportation District (RTD) and the “Bustang” service, provided by the Colorado Department of Transportation.

The Denver Airport Station is located at the DEN Transit Center, Level 1, adjacent to the Westin Denver International Airport. The station serves RTD routes AB, AT, 104L, 145X and 169L.

The DEN Transit Center can be accessed at the south end of Jeppesen Terminal by exiting through the glass doors and taking the escalator or elevator down to ground level.

Hours of Operation

Approximately 3:30 a.m. to midnight, with the last bus leaving the airport at 1:28 a.m.

Location and Cost

RTD buses pick-up and drop-off passengers at the DEN Transit Center. One-day passes are just $10.50

Frequency

Buses depart approximately every 15 minutes during peak hours and drivers will help you load and unload your luggage
