A stunning winter games exhibition featuring artifacts and memorabilia that span several decades of world competition was on display at Denver International Airport (DEN) in the ‘Winter Sports USA’ exhibit.
The DEN Arts Program partnered with organizations directly and indirectly affiliated with the winter games in an effort to celebrate community and worldliness for the XXIII Olympic Winter Games and the XII Paralympic Winter Games.
The exhibit presented a rare opportunity for travelers to see modern and vintage winter sports items. Display cases featured items such as Olympic torches, competitive race suits, equipment, Denver’s 1976 Winter Olympic bid, unique books, costumes and much more. The exhibit was educational, inspiring, timely and energizing as it embarked on how “Dreams Take Flight” for so many athletes.
