“Abstract Landscape Colorado,” highlighted the twists and turns of Colorado’s breathtaking landscape through abstract drawings and paintings.
Local Colorado artists Mindy Bray, Wopo Holup and Heather Patterson created site-specific artwork for the display cases. The exhibit featureed gold and silver gilded landforms, patterned environments and brightly colored systemic landscapes. The exhibit was derived from the public art commissions awarded to Bray, Holup and Patterson in 2014 that are featured within the airport’s Westin Denver International Airport hotel. The displays provided passengers with a look at the types of artwork inside the hotel at the opposite end of the terminal.
