About Trees. A Visual Narrative of Our Enduring Relationships with Trees Through the Seasons

Denver International Airport (DEN) is showcasing a selection of enlarged reproductions from 25 artists in the Rocky Mountain Society of Botanical Artists (RMSBA). The exhibition, Trees. A visual narrative of our enduring relationships with trees through the seasons., is on view from December 6, 20205 through June 3, 2026, and can be found across the A-Bridge, just before arriving on the Concourse A second-floor mezzanine.
Works on view were originally created in ink, watercolor, gouache, scratchboard, acrylics, oils, graphite, carbon and colored pencil, excluding photos and computer-generated images. The enlarged reproductions on display here are the result of a call for artworks depicting trees. An exhibition of the original works is touring several prestigious locations throughout the region.

Founded in 1997, the RMSBA is the first regional chapter of the American Society of Botanical Artists (ASBA). The Society is dedicated to promoting public awareness of contemporary botanical art, honoring its traditions and furthering its development. It is open to all artists and art patrons alike. RMSBA’s goal is to educate the public about botanical art, support the artist creating these works, and support awareness of plants place in the world, and their environmental challenges with a special focus on plants in peril.
