The scheduled testing will help DEN airport operations evaluate the AGTS (Automated Guideway Transit System) power distribution system. Employees and passengers will need use Bridge Security, which will be the 24-hour checkpoint starting at 8 p.m. Starting at 9:15 p.m., those who need to reach the B and C concourses will be guided via signage and/or airport personnel to a bus that will take them to the concourses. These changes will be in effect from 9:15 p.m. Feb. 20, to 3 a.m., Feb. 21. It is recommended that passengers who need to get to the B and C Concourses during these hours should arrive to security at least 30 minutes earlier than they would have otherwise to ensure they have enough time to move through the airport.

About Perfect Patchwork

DEN Arts presents Perfect Patchwork, a celebration of quilting in Colorado. This exhibition represents three diverse guilds, the Rocky Mountain Wa Shonaji Quilt Guild, the Denver Metro Modern Quilt Guild, and the Colorado Quilting Council, along with the local Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum. These organizations are all passionate about sharing the tradition and enduring legacy of quilting in Colorado while celebrating this unique craft in their own ways. Take a moment to marvel at these exquisite quilts and leave with an appreciation for the artistry and ingenuity behind each and every stitch.

Quilting as an art form is described as stitching layers of fabric and padding together. As you explore the quilts on view in these display cases you’ll find pieces that represent the city of Denver, capture the essence of Colorado’s natural beauty, and depict themes of aviation. Delve into the intricate details of meticulously hand-sewn quilts that reflect the history and culture of the guilds, offering a glimpse into the lives and stories of the quilters and their communities.

Be immersed in a kaleidoscope of colors, textures, and patterns that tell stories as unique and diverse as the talented quilters who created them. From traditional designs that pay homage to the rich heritage of quilting to innovative modern pieces that push the boundaries of the art form. Perfect Patchwork showcases the incredible range and creativity that can be achieved with fabric, needle, and thread.
