Most Airline Counters Move to Temporary Locations

DEN is temporarily relocating 24 airline check-in/bag drop counters as construction continues on the Great Hall Program. Between April 9 and June 30, the counters at the south end of Jeppesen Terminal’s east and west sides will be temporarily moving from Level 6 to Level 5. These airlines will remain on Level 5 in their temporary operation through mid-2027.

About the Artist, Mindy Bray

Mindy Bray is a Denver-based artist whose works on mural walls and on paper investigate the relationship between urban and natural environments. Her work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions nationally, including the Rule Gallery and Ironton in Denver and the Urban Institute for Contemporary Art in Michigan.

About Strange Continents by Mindy Bray

Mindy Bray painted her largest mural commission to date along the 150-foot-long hallway at the entrance to the Westin hotel. The imagery for the work is derived from hundreds of photographs of the Platte River at Confluence Park in Denver, which the artist digitally manipulated to arrive at a vocabulary of shapes that were composed to resemble a global map. The colors recall traditional colors used in maps.
