Parking Rates Change Starting May 14

DEN will increase parking fees at certain parking facilities and reduce the price of Premium Reserve parking starting May 14, 2025. The changes come as parking management and shuttle costs at DEN have increased by an average of 44.5 % over the last three years.

Most Airline Counters Move to Temporary Locations

DEN is temporarily relocating 24 airline check-in/bag drop counters as construction continues on the Great Hall Program. Between April 9 and June 30, the counters at the south end of Jeppesen Terminal’s east and west sides will be temporarily moving from Level 6 to Level 5. These airlines will remain on Level 5 in their temporary operation through mid-2027.

Two Dozen Airline Counters Move to Temporary Locations

Counters to move from Level 6 to Level 5

DENVER – April 2, 2025 – Denver International Airport (DEN) is preparing to temporarily relocate 24 airline check-in/bag drop counters as progress continues on the final construction phase of the Great Hall Program. Between April 9 and June 30, the airline counters at the south end of Jeppesen Terminal’s east and west sides will be temporarily moving from Level 6 to Level 5. These airlines will remain on Level 5 in their temporary operation through mid-2027. The counters serving DEN’s largest carriers – United Airlines (Terminal West), Southwest Airlines (Terminal East) and Frontier Airlines (Terminal East) – will remain at their current locations on Level 6.

Airlines located on the west side will move throughout April and those on the east side will move in June. Airline counters are expected to begin operating on Level 5 starting on the following dates. This temporary configuration represents an important milestone in Great Hall construction progress. DEN is nearing the end of this major project as it moves forward with the final phase of Great Hall Program on the south end of the Terminal.

Wayfinding signage will help guide travelers to the counters they need to locate. Additionally, DEN employees and volunteer ambassadors will continue to be positioned throughout the Terminal to offer directions to passengers.

The construction will also require the Canvas Credit Union, located on Level 6 of Terminal West, to move to Level 5 of Terminal West near Baggage Claim 17 by the end of April, 2025. The interfaith chapel and masjid will relocate from Level 6 of Terminal East to Level 5 of Terminal West near Baggage Claim 3 by the end of June, 2025. Subway, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and Boulder Tap House will remain open until approximately the end of August, 2025 to allow for construction to begin on Level 5.
