DENVER – May 21, 2026 – Travelers are invited again this year to take advantage of Colorado’s sunny weather by enjoying the Park on the Plaza at Denver International Airport (DEN). The 82,000 square-foot open-air plaza, located between the Jeppesen Terminal and the Westin Hotel, will become an outdoor oasis from May 22 to September 30, 2026. Visitors can play mini golf or cornhole, relax on lounge seating and grass-like turf and enjoy a variety of events all summer. All activities and events on the plaza are free to passengers and well as the community.

DEN will kick off Park on the Plaza with performances in honor of Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Month (AANHPI) on May 22 from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
June
Mini Golf is back by popular demand for visitors to enjoy a free nine-hole course from May 30 to June 30 from 10 a.m. -7 p.m. daily, weather permitting.
DEN will celebrate Pride with Lisonthedrums, a locally based and world-renowned drummer and DJ, for an afternoon of music and dancing on June 11 from 1-2:30 p.m.
On June 19 at 11 a.m. Denver’s own Brothers of Brass will do a pop-up performance in recognition of Juneteenth.
August
August will mark the return of Concerts on the Fly, a six-week concert series featuring local and national acts. The first concert will take place on Sunday, Aug. 2 at 2 p.m. The concerts are free, ticketed events.
