Accessibility Statement for Denver Airport
We want everyone who visits the Denver Airport website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding, going above and beyond the recommendations stated in Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act 1998.
What did we do
To help us make the Denver Airport website a positive place for everyone, we’ve designed and developed it in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, more compatible with assistive technology, and more user-friendly for everyone. The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level A & AA as the target for the Denver Airport website. In Q2 2026, we completed the following ongoing accessibility work on the website:
- A focused round of accessibility improvements across the website, including updates to navigation, links, forms, and interactive elements (such as tabs, accordions, and pagination) so they work more reliably with screen readers and other assistive technology.
- Accessibility improvements to the site’s search function so that search results are properly announced to users utilizing assistive technology.
- A targeted verification pass across key areas of the site — including the homepage, route information pages, and parking and transportation pages — confirming that navigation, tabs, forms, and informational cards in those areas work correctly with screen readers and meet WCAG Level A and AA guidelines.
In Q3 2026, we will finalize code-level remediations on the website resulting from a Manual Audit and Live User Testing and roll out an updated Accessibility Conformance Report/VPAT for the website.
How did we do it
The accessibility experts at AccessiBe conducted a manual audit for website accessibility in the first quarter of 2025. This audit utilized screen readers and manual reviews to assess all website components for ADA compliance, followed by remediation of any found issues. This manual audit builds on previous accessibility work completed during the initial website development and aims to make continuous improvements to accessibility. The manual audit will result in an updated Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) and accessibility statement to document all findings and remediations. A VPAT template documents the site’s compliance with Section 508 and other accessibility standards. This template can then be provided as a true and accurate testament of the current accessibility standards and conformance level of the site.

The accessibility experts at Accessibe conducted manual testing on a Windows or Mac computer using NVDA, JAWs, or VoiceOver, as appropriate. Proprietary software is used for all automated testing.
There are some areas of our website, provided by 3rd party vendors, that we have learned may not be accessible or usable by everyone equally. We understand that all areas must comply with the WCAG 2.1 Level A & AA guidelines and we will update those areas as soon as possible.

- GTranslate (minor duplicated ID issue that doesn’t prevent accessibility of the component)
