Most Airline Counters Move to Temporary Locations

DEN is temporarily relocating 24 airline check-in/bag drop counters as construction continues on the Great Hall Program. Between April 9 and June 30, the counters at the south end of Jeppesen Terminal’s east and west sides will be temporarily moving from Level 6 to Level 5. These airlines will remain on Level 5 in their temporary operation through mid-2027.

Developed for students ages 7-19 years old, DEN Academy has something for everyone and serves as a hands-on, interactive introduction to the world of aviation

New changes for 2025! Based off of feedback from previous participants, the following updates have been made:

Expanded sessions! We’ve added more days to reach more students!
Adapted for more graduated points of entry concept based off of age.
- DEN Academy 7-9 Years Old: Hosted at CSU Spur, this session is classroom-style where students will discover aviation careers and build an airport as a team
  - Date: Monday, June 23^rd-Tuesday, June 24^th
  - Time: Full Day
  - Location: CSU Spur

- DEN Academy 10-12 Years Old: Hosted at CSU Spur, this session is classroom-style where students will discover aviation careers, discuss skillsets needed for careers, and design an airport as a team
  - Date: Thursday, June 26^th-Friday, June 27^th
  - Time: Full Day

- DEN Academy 13-15 Years Old: Hosted at DEN, students will receive an introduction to DEN careers, match careers to the student’s natural talents and strengths, as well as get a behind-the-scenes look tour of DEN work areas
  - Date: Friday, July 25th
  - Time: 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
  - Location: DEN

- DEN Academy 16-19 Years Old: Hosted in the evening at DEN, students will receive an introduction to DEN careers and the DEN internship (“DENtern”) program, as well as get a behind-the-scenes look tour of DEN work areas

  - Time: 5-9 p.m.
  - Location: DEN
