Developed for students ages 7-19 years old, DEN Academy has something for everyone and serves as a hands-on, interactive introduction to the world of aviation
- DEN Academy 7-9 Years Old: Hosted at DEN, this session is classroom-style where students will discover aviation careers through interactive activities.
- Friday, June 26 (1-day) from 9:00am-3:00pm
- DEN Academy 10-12 Years Old: Hosted at DEN, this session is classroom-style where students will discover aviation careers, discuss skillsets needed for careers, and design an airport as a team
- Tuesday, June 23 AND Wednesday, June 24th (2-days) from 9:00am-3:00pm
- DEN Academy 13-15 Years Old: Hosted at DEN, this session is classroom-style where students will discover aviation careers, discuss skillsets needed for careers, and design an airport as a team.
- Tuesday, July 14 AND Wednesday, July 15 (2-days) from 9:00am-3:00pm
- DEN Academy 16-19 Years Old: Hosted at DEN, students will receive an introduction to DEN careers and the DEN internship (“DENtern”) program, match careers to the student’s natural talents and strengths, as well as get a behind-the-scenes look tour of DEN work areas.
- Friday, July 17 (1-day) from 9:00am-3:00pm
All sessions will be held at the Center of Equity & Excellence in Aviation (CEEA) at Denver International Airport.
