Denver International Airport (DEN) is conducting a planned emergency preparedness exercise today. • What’s happening: DEN is participating in a federally required emergency preparedness exercise. • What it means: Airport and stakeholder teams are practicing their response to a simulated aircraft emergency. • Operations status: There is no real emergency, and airport operations remain normal. • What passengers may see: Emergency response vehicles and flashing lights may be visible on the airfield. • Passenger impact: The exercise is planned to minimize impacts to travelers
