There’s Another Way to Get from Jeppesen Terminal to A Gates
Next time you’re traveling through Denver International Airport (DEN), skip the Train to the Gates and take the A-Bridge instead. Located directly north of the East and West security checkpoints, this pedestrian bridge offers a scenic walk to Concourse A complete with mountain views, aircraft taxiing beneath your feet and rotating art exhibits along the way.
Whether you’re looking to take the fastest path to Concourse A, snap a few plane-spotting photos or explore the latest art exhibits, A-Bridge is worth the walk.
A Record-Setting Piece of Engineering
The A-Bridge is more than just a walkway to Concourse A. At 365 feet long and 45 feet wide, the pedestrian bridge sits 45 feet above the ground and is the only bridge where aircraft can taxi underneath
Surrounded by a glass wall, the A-Bridge offers incredible views of aircraft taxiing below and Colorado’s mountain landscape. As you walk – or ride the moving walkway – to your gate, planes pass beneath your feet, creating a one-of-a-kind view.

Not only can passengers “plane spot” along the A-Bridge, but they can also explore rotating art exhibits throughout Ansbacher Hall, the bridge and the Y-Juncture Gallery. To see what current exhibits are on display, visit Exhibitions at DEN.
DEN is home to one of the largest public art collections in the world, featuring unique sculptures, murals, installations, and Colorado-inspired exhibits throughout the airport. As you make your way across the A-Bridge, take a moment to explore the artwork along the walk.
Past exhibits on the A-Bridge have featured a variety of creative works, including fashion garments made from everyday materials, oversized calaveras (sugar skulls), woodworking and more. With rotating exhibits throughout the year, there’s always something new to discover.

The A-Bridge temporarily closed in November 2024 and reopened in August 2025 to support construction of DEN’s new East Security Checkpoint as part of the Great Hall Project.
Next time you’re at DEN, take the scenic route to Concourse A and explore the art along the way. You can also discover additional artwork throughout the Terminal and concourses as part of DEN’s extensive public art and exhibitions program.
