DENVER – Aug. 21, 2026 – DEN announced today the opening of Dresses with Pockets, a curated exhibition of sculptural garments created by members of the Women’s Caucus for Art Colorado to explore identity, memory, labor, resilience and the unseen experiences women carry throughout their lives.
Each dress reflects the unique voice, background and material language of its artist, resulting in a diverse and layered installation honoring strength, complexity, humor, vulnerability and transformation. The exhibition features the work of Deborah Deal-Blackwell, Louise Cutler, Genevieve Deits, Anne E. Emmons, Melody Epperson, and Kelly Austin Rolo.
The Women’s Caucus for Art Colorado is a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to supporting and advancing women in the visual arts. The organization fosters advocacy, professional development, exhibition opportunities and community among women identifying artists across the state of Colorado.
Dresses with Pockets is on view now through January 4, 2027, and is located on the Mezzanine, level 3, in the center of Concourse C.
