Parking Rates Change Starting May 14

DEN will increase parking fees at certain parking facilities and reduce the price of Premium Reserve parking starting May 14, 2025. The changes come as parking management and shuttle costs at DEN have increased by an average of 44.5 % over the last three years.

Most Airline Counters Move to Temporary Locations

DEN is temporarily relocating 24 airline check-in/bag drop counters as construction continues on the Great Hall Program. Between April 9 and June 30, the counters at the south end of Jeppesen Terminal’s east and west sides will be temporarily moving from Level 6 to Level 5. These airlines will remain on Level 5 in their temporary operation through mid-2027.

Winter Holiday Market at Snow Place Like DEN for the Holidays

DENVER – Dec. 7, 2016 – Denver International Airport (DEN) hosts its first Winter Holiday Market as part of DEN’s program of events this holiday season, Friday, Dec. 9 through Sunday, Dec. 11 on the DEN Plaza from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. DEN is also hosting its first free ice skating rink through Sunday, Jan. 1 on the DEN Plaza from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

DEN’s Winter Holiday Market features everything Colorado hosting local vendors that will provide crafts, home goods and apparel to prepared foods from local bakeries, handmade toys, jewelry, dog items, gourmet cheese and even artisan pickles. This is a great opportunity to find the perfect Colorado gifts while supporting local businesses. Visitors to the market can also enjoy the free ice skating rink, which is located in the same area on the DEN Plaza.

  • Dec. 16, 2016 – Film on the Fly – “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”: The party starts at 4 p.m. on the DEN Plaza, with the best Ugly Holiday Sweater party. The film begins at 6 p.m. so get ready to laugh out loud with the Griswalds. Film on the Fly is presented in partnership with Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Littleton. Some seats will be available but participants are encouraged to bring their own chair or cushion to ensure a seat.
  • Dec. 16 – 24, 2016 – Holiday Entertainment: A variety of holiday entertainment will be offered from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily in the Jeppesen Terminal. The entertainment will consist of local choirs, caroling groups, singer/songwriter musicians, pianists, brass band and dance groups will fill DEN’s Great Hall with the magic of the holiday season.

The plaza is located pre-security, is open to the public and is accessible just steps from the new University of Colorado A Line station at DEN (tickets are $9 and good for multiple trips during the same business day), or a short walk from the airport parking garages ($3/hour). The Jeppesen Terminal is located in the center of the Great Hall also located pre-security and open to the public.

DEN’s 82,000-square-foot open-air plaza offers stunning views of the terminal tents, major public art installations, the transit center facility, the Rocky Mountains and downtown Denver. The plaza connects the terminal to the hotel is covered by a canopy, providing both covered and uncovered areas for activities.
