Parking Rates Change Starting May 14

DEN will increase parking fees at certain parking facilities and reduce the price of Premium Reserve parking starting May 14, 2025. The changes come as parking management and shuttle costs at DEN have increased by an average of 44.5 % over the last three years.

Most Airline Counters Move to Temporary Locations

DEN is temporarily relocating 24 airline check-in/bag drop counters as construction continues on the Great Hall Program. Between April 9 and June 30, the counters at the south end of Jeppesen Terminal’s east and west sides will be temporarily moving from Level 6 to Level 5. These airlines will remain on Level 5 in their temporary operation through mid-2027.

Viva, Mexico’s ultra-low-cost carrier, launches new international service connecting Denver (DEN) to Mexico City (AIFA)

Denver – April 15, 2025 Mexico’s ultra-low-cost carrier Viva announced today new nonstop service connecting Denver International Airport (DEN) to Mexico City’s Aeropuerto Internacional Felipe Angeles (AIFA), also called the New Mexico City International Airport (IATA code NLU). Service is scheduled to begin on Thursday, November 20.

“We applaud Viva for inaugurating flights to an airport never before served nonstop from Denver,” DEN CEO Phil Washington said. “This new service to AIFA, which complements Viva’s existing flights to Monterrey, further demonstrates Viva’s commitment to the Denver market and helps us advance our Vision 100 strategic plan.”

Passengers traveling from Denver to Mexico City/AIFA will be able to connect to more than 30 domestic and international destinations operated by Viva from AIFA, where Viva is the main airline operator. They will fly aboard the newest fleet in Mexico and fifth newest in North America, composed of 93 Airbus A320 and A321 CEO and NEO aircraft.

“We are thrilled to launch our new route from Denver to the brand-new Mexico City International Airport,” said Javier Suárez, Executive Vice President of Strategy, Planning & Alliances at Viva. “Our ultra-low fares and friendly service continue to be a winning combination for leisure travelers, those visiting friends and relatives, and small to mid-sized businesses looking to optimize their travel budgets. With this addition, Viva now flies nonstop from Denver to this airport, as well as to Monterrey.”

Beginning November 20, this nonstop route will operate two times a week, every Thursday and Sunday. Departing from Mexico City/AIFA (NLU) at 8:45 a.m., the flight will arrive in Denver (DEN) at 12:20 p.m. The return flight departs DEN at 1:05 p.m., landing back at NLU at 5:40 p.m. Passengers can purchase their tickets at the official Viva Aerobus website: www.vivaaerobus.com/en, in the Viva App or by dialing the Call Center (toll-free) +1 866 FLY VIVA (+1866 359 8482).
