Tia’s Brings Authentic New Mexico Fare to Denver International Airport’s Final Approach Waiting Lot

Home

DENVER – Aug. 1, 2016 – Visitors using Denver International Airport’s (DEN) cell phone waiting lot, Final Approach, now have a new dining option with today’s opening of Tia’s Authentic New Mexican Eats.

Tia’s offers authentic New Mexico-style fare that includes both breakfast and lunch/dinner menus. Breakfast is available from 6-10 a.m. daily, and the restaurant is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The regionally inspired menu includes breakfast burritos and bowls, freshly-made burritos, salads, tacos, nachos, quesadillas and bowls. Items can be customized with green or red chile queso, chips and guacamole or smothered in red, green or Christmas chile. Dessert options include churros and sopaipilla fries.

Tia’s will be operated by New Mexico-based Fresquez Companies. In 2013, Tia’s Albuquerque airport location was named one of “10 airport restaurants that taste like home” by CNN. For the freshly rebranded Denver location, Tia’s has brought its food preparation to the front of the house so that customers can watch their food being made fresh before their eyes.

“We are excited to welcome the addition of Tia’s to the Final Approach waiting lot facility,” said Mookie Patel, senior vice president for commercial properties and airline affairs. “Since opening in 2013, Final Approach has become a favorite place for people to wait for arriving passengers, offering free Wi-Fi, flight information boards and a great lineup of dining options.”

Final Approach also includes 253 parking spaces, indoor restrooms, a children’s seating area with iPads and four dining choices: Subway, Tia’s Authentic New Mexican Eats, zpizza and a 24-hour Dunkin’ Donuts. Final Approach is located at 7684 N. Wenatchee St.
