DENVER, CO — May 9, 2013 — Beginning at 6 a.m. Friday (May 10) and lasting until early 2014, vehicles exiting the passenger drop-off location on the east side of the Jeppesen Terminal at Denver International Airport will experience a minor lane closure.
Vehicles exiting the passenger drop-off on the east side of the terminal will be required to merge into a single lane at the far south end of the terminal. The right lane of the road in that area will be closed in order to allow construction crews to prepare for the demolition and reconstruction of a bridge as part of the South Terminal Redevelopment Program.
The impact to traffic is expected to be minimal, but drivers are being asked to slow down and drive with caution in the construction area and allow a few extra minutes of travel time. The lane closure is expected to be in effect until early 2014, when the new Level 6 bridges are completed.
