CHECKPOINT ALERT: Bridge Security
Starting Dec. 9, 2024, TSA will no longer operate Bridge Security on a regular basis. A-Bridge and Ansbacher Hall will remain open for arriving passengers and employees accessing the Airport Office Building. Departing travelers must use West Security Checkpoint or South Security Checkpoint.

The existing off-ramp from inbound Peña Blvd. to Jackson Gap is closed for construction. While a temporary off-ramp is available, construction activity may cause travel impacts. Drivers on Jackson Gap will not be able to travel westbound on E 75th Ave. to the Pikes Peak shuttle lot. Detours are in place.

A-Bridge and Ansbacher Hall will be closed for overnight construction activities from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m., Monday through Thursday nights, through the opening of the East Checkpoint in Q3 2025. During closures, all travelers must use concourse trains to journey to and from the Terminal.

DENVER – July 5, 2018 – As part of its “Events at DEN” series, Denver International Airport (DEN) is transforming its open-air plaza into a Pop-Up Park, featuring native Colorado trees and plants and 9,000 square feet of turf. The Pop-Up Park brings many features enjoyed in other Denver parks including lawn games, lunchtime fitness classes and lounge seating.
A defining element of the Pop-Up Park is the potted gardens curated by students in the Colorado State University Landscape Design and Contracting Program. Students selected trees and plants native to Colorado’s Plains ecosystem, including displays of low-water consuming plants, giving passengers the opportunity to experience local flora without leaving the airport.

The Pop-Up Park is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily through September 3, weather permitting, on DEN’s 82,000square-foot plaza, located at the south end of Jeppesen Terminal connecting the terminal to the Westin Denver International Airport and Transit Center. Passengers visiting DEN and community members alike are encouraged to stop by and enjoy free park activities. Share your photos of Pop-Up park using the hashtag #DENEvents.
The plaza is located pre-security, is open to the public and is accessible just steps from the University of Colorado A Line station at DEN, or a short walk from the airport parking garages ($4/hour in garage parking, $5/short term parking).
