Parking at Denver International Airport Just Got Easier

New Express Pay Option Allows for Faster Parking Entry and Exit

DENVER – Oct. 13, 2026 – Denver International Airport (DEN) announced the launch of Express Pay, a new parking payment option powered by Flash that allows enrolled users to enter and exit DEN parking facilities without stopping to pay at the gate.

Using license plate recognition technology, Express Pay automatically identifies a vehicle upon entry and exit and processes payment electronically for enrolled users. Designed to reduce congestion at exit lanes, the new service will help travelers save time and enjoy a more seamless parking experience. Travelers can enroll in Express Pay through ParkWhiz, Flash’s parking platform, or through the ParkMobile app.

“I am very excited to announce this new way to make parking at DEN easier, more convenient and more efficient,” said Dave LaPorte, interim Chief Executive Officer at DEN. “This enhancement is another step in modernizing our parking operation and helping travelers save time.”

The service is available across DEN’s garage, economy and shuttle parking lots. Here’s how it works:

1. Activate Express Pay – Set up Express Pay in the ParkMobile App before you arrive or scan the QR code on posted signs at DEN once you arrive to sign up online via ParkWhiz by Flash.
2. Drive In – Your license plate is automatically recognized, and the gate opens, no ticket or scan required.
3. Park – Park as usual. Your session starts automatically, and you’ll receive either an app notification or text message confirming activation, depending on how you enrolled.
4. Drive Out – Upon exiting, the gate will lift automatically, payment will be processed electronically and a receipt will be sent via text message.

During enrollment, users may choose a one-time payment option or enroll in autopay. Users who select autopay can enjoy fully automated entry and exit on all future parking visits.
