DENVER – June 28, 2021 – Denver International Airport (DEN) has savory and sweet news for you – Snooze An A.M. Eatery is now open. Mayor Michael B. Hancock and DEN CEO Kim Day joined Snooze and concessionaire Skyport Hospitality today to celebrate!
“As an international airport, it’s important that passengers who land at DEN have an authentic Denver experience,” said DEN CEO Kim Day. “What’s more Denver, and more delicious, than Snooze? A local eatery hot-spot people will gladly wait in line for, me included! We are elated to welcome Snooze to the DEN family.”
The menu is anything but a snooze, featuring items like their famous funky classic pancake flight – pineapple upside down, blueberry danish and sweet potato pancakes – and their Spicy Bloody Mary. There are even some new dishes created just for travelers including the Breakfast Brioche Burger and the Kale ‘n’ Grains Avocado Salad as well as an expanded beer and wine list to better accommodate the afternoon diners.
The mega-popular Snooze was founded in Denver in 2006, so it makes sense why they chose DEN as their next location. The restaurant utilizes 3,500 sq. feet of space that includes more than 30 tables and 30-seat bar.
“Denver holds a special place in our hearts as it’s the birthplace of Snooze,” said David Birzon, CEO of Snooze. “It means a lot to us to be given the opportunity to establish a location within Denver International Airport, where travelers from all over the world will get to experience Snooze, many for the first time. We’re looking forward to wowing guests with our take on breakfast classics, and providing them with a sense of community and comfort even with the hustle and bustle of travel at a busy hub like DEN.”
Snooze is located in the center of Concourse B on the mezzanine level and will be open daily. Snooze is operated by Skyport Hospitality and supported by Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business (ACDBE) partner Airport Hospitality Services. If you would like to join the Snooze family, there are still some great job opportunities available. Employees receive benefits such as company paid Ecopasses or airport parking, health insurance, paid time off and more. Visit jobs.flydenver.com to apply.
