Starting Dec. 9, 2024, TSA will no longer operate Bridge Security on a regular basis. A-Bridge and Ansbacher Hall will remain open for arriving passengers and employees accessing the Airport Office Building. Departing travelers must use West Security Checkpoint or South Security Checkpoint.

The existing off-ramp from inbound Peña Blvd. to Jackson Gap is closed for construction. While a temporary off-ramp is available, construction activity may cause travel impacts. Drivers on Jackson Gap will not be able to travel westbound on E 75th Ave. to the Pikes Peak shuttle lot. Detours are in place.

A-Bridge and Ansbacher Hall will be closed for overnight construction activities from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m., Monday through Thursday nights, through the opening of the East Checkpoint in Q3 2025. During closures, all travelers must use concourse trains to journey to and from the Terminal.

DENVER – Nov. 14, 2017 – Passengers at Denver International Airport (DEN) can now enjoy the first fullservice Smashburger® in what is now the Denver-based company’s flagship location.
The new 2,327 square-foot Smashburger® restaurant is located on the C Concourse and is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, with breakfast available until 10:30 a.m. The all-new breakfast Smashburger® will make its debut on the breakfast menu, along with a variety of signature sandwiches. And, coming soon, the restaurant will feature a full bar with 10 craft beers on tap from top Colorado breweries, including Tivoli, Dry Dock, Great Divide, Left Hand, Oskar Blues, and Upslope.
“Denver International Airport is excited to welcome Smashburger, a Colorado-based company with growing international recognition, to our expanding lineup of great dining options,” said Patrick Heck, DEN’s chief commercial officer. “Not only will the restaurant bring its lauded line of burgers to passengers on the go, but it will also offer full dining service and a full bar in a first-of-its-kind concept for the company. We think passengers will love this combination of service and quality food while waiting for a flight.”
The second Smashburger is set to open in B Concourse in spring 2018. That restaurant will boast a fun, twolevel layout featuring more than 3,573 square feet. Both restaurants will be operated by Midfield Concession Enterprises.
