CHECKPOINT ALERT: Bridge Security

Starting Dec. 9, 2024, TSA will no longer operate Bridge Security on a regular basis. A-Bridge and Ansbacher Hall will remain open for arriving passengers and employees accessing the Airport Office Building. Departing travelers must use West Security Checkpoint or South Security Checkpoint.

TRAVEL UPDATE: Jackson Gap & 75th Ave. Detours

The existing off-ramp from inbound Peña Blvd. to Jackson Gap is closed for construction. While a temporary off-ramp is available, construction activity may cause travel impacts. Drivers on Jackson Gap will not be able to travel westbound on E 75th Ave. to the Pikes Peak shuttle lot. Detours are in place.

WAYFINDING: Changes to A-Bridge/ Ansbacher Hall

A-Bridge and Ansbacher Hall will be closed for overnight construction activities from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m., Monday through Thursday nights, through the opening of the East Checkpoint in Q3 2025. During closures, all travelers must use concourse trains to journey to and from the Terminal.

Frontier Airlines and Denver International Airport Celebrate 100 nonstop destinations

DENVER – April 8, 2019 – Low-fare carrier Frontier Airlines announced its 100th destination from Denver International Airport (DEN) with non-stop service to Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (XNA) in Bentonville/Fayetteville, Ark. Service starts June 27, 2019.

“With this announcement, we are the only non-stop carrier on 11 of our routes from Denver. We’re offering not only amazing low fares but over 90% of the population in the lower 48 states is within 90 minutes of a Frontier non-stop destination from Denver. This is the latest evidence of our commitment to making air travel more affordable across the United States,” said Barry Biffle, President and CEO at Frontier Airlines. “Our average fare from Denver has dropped 52% in the last five years and our reliable and friendly service that allows customers to customize their travel experience to their needs and budget. This empowers more people than ever to fly. This is what our Low Fares Done Right philosophy is all about.”

Frontier Airlines will celebrate its 25th Birthday this summer and has committed to a 10-year lease renewal of its aircraft hangar at DEN.

“The expansion of Denver’s domestic network is in part thanks to Frontier’s growth,” said Mayor Michael B. Hancock. “It is exciting to see a Denver-based company achieve success in a highly competitive industry.”

The addition of Bentonville/Fayetteville follows the recent summer schedule announcements of new service from Denver to Billings, Montana, Boston, Massachusetts, Burlington, Vermont, Green Bay, Wisconsin, Mobile, Alabama, and Tyler, Texas.
