DENVER – Aug. 25, 2016 – Join us at Denver International Airport (DEN) for one last summer celebration on Sept. 1 with a free welcome party for the world actions sports series, Festival International des Sports Extrêmes (FISE), from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on DEN’s open-air plaza.
This event will welcome more than 250 of the top international amateur and professional athletes in freestyle BMX, flatland BMX, and skateboarding. And, this action-packed event will also welcome two of Colorado’s FISE athletes, BMX freestyle experts AJ Anaya and Nikita Ducarroz. They will be available to chat with fans, sign autographs and take photos.
Denver is the first U.S. city to host this international tour. There will be BMX stunts, autograph signings by elite athletes and music will be provided by action sports emcee DJ Ripm.
For the last 20 years, FISE has brought together the most popular action sports and the best athletes in the world, as well as enthusiastic audiences for a series of events across Europe and Asia. Now they are bringing a glimpse of FISE to the U.S.
The plaza is located pre-security, is open to the public and is accessible just steps from the new University of Colorado A Line station at DEN (tickets are $9 and good for multiple trips during the same business day), or a short walk from the airport parking garages ($3/hour).
