DENVER – March 30, 2023 – On April 3, Denver International Airport (DEN) will close a large portion of the East Economy Lot to conduct necessary improvements and repairs. Over 2,000 spaces will close to make way for the repairs.
Approximately 2,000 spaces on the northern side of the lot will remain open. When the East Economy Lot reaches capacity, passengers should utilize the East Garage, West Garage, West Economy, Pikes Peak Shuttle Lot and 61st & Peña station. See real time parking availability here.
The lot is expected to reopen when work is complete in October of this year. Any vehicles left in the work zones will be relocated to a vehicle depository within the lot. Passengers who need to retrieve their vehicle should call (303) 342-4650 for instructions to recover their vehicle.
During this time, we will reconstruct the shelter islands and curbs, install new snow storage pads, update the drainage, repave and restripe. The improvements ensure that DEN remains ADA compliant within its facilities.
