Starting Dec. 9, 2024, TSA will no longer operate Bridge Security on a regular basis. A-Bridge and Ansbacher Hall will remain open for arriving passengers and employees accessing the Airport Office Building. Departing travelers must use West Security Checkpoint or South Security Checkpoint.

The existing off-ramp from inbound Peña Blvd. to Jackson Gap is closed for construction. While a temporary off-ramp is available, construction activity may cause travel impacts. Drivers on Jackson Gap will not be able to travel westbound on E 75th Ave. to the Pikes Peak shuttle lot. Detours are in place.

A-Bridge and Ansbacher Hall will be closed for overnight construction activities from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m., Monday through Thursday nights, through the opening of the East Checkpoint in Q3 2025. During closures, all travelers must use concourse trains to journey to and from the Terminal.

DENVER, CO — June 28, 2013 — Passenger traffic at Denver International Airport (DIA) declined slightly in May 2013 compared to May 2012.
A total of 4,470,164 passengers passed through DIA in May 2013, compared to 4,531,938 passengers in May of last year. The year-to-date totals remained essentially flat, decreasing 0.5 percent from 20,791,898 passengers during the same period in 2012, to 20,680,015.
“The airport’s overall passenger traffic remains steady as we head into the busy summer travel season, despite capacity reductions by some of our carriers,” said Kim Day, Denver’s Manager of Aviation. “Other carriers continue to post healthy increases and the recent addition of nonstop flights to Tokyo and Fort McMurray, Canada will provide even more options for vacationers and business flyers alike.”
Also in May, air cargo operations saw a 3.8 percent decrease, from 43,758,628 pounds of cargo handled in May 2012 to 42,114,152 pounds of cargo handled in May 2013. There was a decrease in overall airport flight operations, from 51,468 in 2012 to 49,711 in 2013.
