Starting Dec. 9, 2024, TSA will no longer operate Bridge Security on a regular basis. A-Bridge and Ansbacher Hall will remain open for arriving passengers and employees accessing the Airport Office Building. Departing travelers must use West Security Checkpoint or South Security Checkpoint.

The existing off-ramp from inbound Peña Blvd. to Jackson Gap is closed for construction. While a temporary off-ramp is available, construction activity may cause travel impacts. Drivers on Jackson Gap will not be able to travel westbound on E 75th Ave. to the Pikes Peak shuttle lot. Detours are in place.

A-Bridge and Ansbacher Hall will be closed for overnight construction activities from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m., Monday through Thursday nights, through the opening of the East Checkpoint in Q3 2025. During closures, all travelers must use concourse trains to journey to and from the Terminal.

DENVER, CO — March 12, 2013 — Today, Denver International Airport’s Manager of Aviation, Kim Day, announced that VISIT DENVER and the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation (Metro Denver EDC), are the joint recipients of the 2013 DIA Partner in Aviation Award.
Day made the announcement during the annual State of DIA address, which was held at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.
VISIT DENVER and the Metro Denver EDC were selected for the annual award for their commitment and partnership in bringing the Denver-Tokyo route to Denver International Airport. The route is expected to begin service later this spring, bringing with it vast economic opportunities for Denver and the Colorado region. But beyond that, both organizations have demonstrated a long-term commitment to marketing Denver as a worldclass destination for business and recreation alike. These groups helped launch new air service to places such as Iceland and Munich, and in doing so have helped open doors to economic opportunities across the globe.
“VISIT DENVER and Metro Denver EDC are both amazing partners who have done so much to further economic development for the city and the region,” said Kim Day, Manager of Aviation. “Both of these organizations have been instrumental in developing the upcoming Denver-Tokyo route, which will open countless new doors and economic opportunities in the global marketplace.”
