Jackson Gap and 75th Ave. Detours
Starting Sept. 22, the existing off-ramp from inbound Peña to Jackson Gap will be closed for construction. While a temporary off-ramp is available, construction activity in the area will cause travel impacts. Also, westbound traffic on 75th from Jackson Gap is prohibited. Detour routes will be in place and signs will be posted.

DENVER – Jan. 7, 2022 – Today, Denver International Airport (DEN) announced that Andrea Albo is being promoted to Deputy Chief of Staff. In this role, she will support Cristal DeHerrera, Executive Vice President (EVP)/Chief of Staff, and the Chief of Staff portfolio that includes organizational strategic planning and performance management, the Center of Excellence and Equity in Aviation, the
airport’s overall equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts as well as operationalizing key priorities for CEO Phil Washington.
Albo joined DEN in 2019 serving as the Senior Vice President for Culture and Strategy. In this role, she oversaw the commerce hub, strategic planning, continuous improvement, wellness, employee engagement, ADA/Title VI, future workforce development, and equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts.
Albo is a Denver native and has worked in public service leadership for 24 years in a variety of roles centered on leading large organizations to reform policy, strengthen processes, and improve employee and customer experiences. Prior to DEN, she served as the Chief of Staff for the Denver Sheriff Department where she led the department’s reform implementation efforts, and also spent 10 years with the Denver Department of Human Services in a variety of roles including as a Deputy Executive Director overseeing federal, state, and local programs.
Albo has been recognized by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) as a national Champion of Change, was named Denver Leader of the Year by the Denver Peak Academy in 2019 and has received a number of other recognitions for her commitment to serving the community. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Colorado and is active in supporting community impact efforts including her current appointment to the Denver Racial Equity Council.
Albo begins her new role on Jan. 10, 2022.
