DENVER – April 1, 2024 – Denver International Airport (DEN) announced today the launch of DEN Screen&Ride – America’s first driveway to runway service featuring a fleet of electric vehicles. The first of its kind service provides passengers across the Denver metro area a convenient and stress-free way to travel directly from their home to the plane! Passengers have the option of booking an individual or shared ride at a discounted price. As an added benefit, passengers and their luggage will be screened by Travel Screening Association-approved drivers, using the most technologically advanced screening wands, right in their very own driveway! After screening, customers will be required to enter the vehicle and will not be allowed exit the vehicle until reaching their airline gate.
“I commend our partners, and everyone at DEN for revolutionizing the way airline passengers travel to the airport,” said Steve Jaquith, Chief Operating Officer for DEN. “The convenience of this service is unparalleled to any ground transportation and remote screening currently offered at any airport across America. It also represents a bold green mode of transportation thanks our new fleet of electric vehicles.”
DEN Screen&Ride vehicles are outfitted with the latest luxury amenities that promise a comfortable journey. They are also stocked with complimentary trail mix and reusable water bottles. Reservations are required and must be made one week in advance of travel. They can be made through DEN’s website, flydenver.com. The fee for the service is $99 per person for shared rides and $199 for individual rides. The price includes guaranteed bag service although individual airline baggage fees do apply. Upon arrival, airport representatives will meet vehicles on the airfield and ensure bags are transferred directly to airline personnel. Terms and restrictions apply, and pickup locations must be within 45 miles of DEN.
“We are relentlessly focused on crafting a premier customer experience—and DEN Screen&Ride does just that and more,” added Jaquith.
Reservations are available starting today. Click here to reserve your personal screen and ride.
