DENVER – Oct. 31, 2018 – DEN Business Connect, a networking and education event hosted by Denver International Airport (DEN), will be held on Thursday, Nov. 1, at the Renaissance Denver Stapleton Hotel. The annual event provides minority and women-owned firms with free guidance on pursuing construction and concessions business opportunities at the airport.
DEN Business Connect brings together nearly 500 small businesses, government officials and community members to discuss a variety of subjects ranging from how to do business at DEN, to current and future procurement opportunities.
The event, formerly known as DEN Days, is focused on helping Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) and Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (ACDBE) gain a better understanding of the procurement and bid process at DEN while building relationships with prime contractors.
DEN Business Connect is organized by DEN’s Commerce Hub, which advocates for small businesses through educational programs, business development assistance and additional services.
