DEN Will Revamp ADA Accessible Parking Spaces
DENVER – Feb. 27, 2025 – Denver International Airport (DEN) will begin work to renew its accessible parking spaces that comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in the West Garage starting mid-April and continuing through early December. This work will be done in phases that will impact specific sections for approximately four months at a time. When work is underway, the following sections of West Garage will be closed to parking, but other areas of the garage will remain open and available.
When work is complete, drivers should expect enhanced accessibility at ADA parking spaces, including those designated for electric vehicles.
Partial Closure Schedule for West Garage:
Phase 1: ADA Parking Space Rehabilitation and Relocation on Level 1
Phase 2: Re-Work Existing ADA to Regular Spaces on Level 1
Phase 3: Passenger Loading Zone Work on Levels 4 and 6
To complete this work, all vehicles must be cleared from the area scheduled for work. Signs will be posted three weeks in advance alerting parking customers of the upcoming closures. Any vehicles parked in this area will be relocated to the surface lot adjacent to the southwest corner of West Garage. For more information, call (303) 342-4650.
