Parking Rates Change Starting May 14
DEN will increase parking fees at certain parking facilities and reduce the price of Premium Reserve parking starting May 14, 2025. The changes come as parking management and shuttle costs at DEN have increased by an average of 44.5 % over the last three years.

DEN is temporarily relocating 24 airline check-in/bag drop counters as construction continues on the Great Hall Program. Between April 9 and June 30, the counters at the south end of Jeppesen Terminal’s east and west sides will be temporarily moving from Level 6 to Level 5. These airlines will remain on Level 5 in their temporary operation through mid-2027.

Upcoming Construction will Result in Nightly Closures of Ansbacher Hall and A-Bridge
DENVER – November 8, 2024 – Denver International Airport (DEN) is preparing for construction activities that will temporarily restrict travelers’ ability to use the A-Bridge and Ansbacher Hall to travel between the Terminal and Concourse A during overnight hours. Ansbacher Hall is the corridor that connects the north end of the Terminal to the Bridge Security (where art exhibitions are located).
Construction activities will be underway to prepare for the eventual permanent closure of A-Bridge Security and the conversion of Ansbacher Hall to a post-security area (a highly restricted portion of the airport that only ticketed passengers who have been screened by TSA or credentialed individuals may access). This will happen upon completion of the East Security Checkpoint (expected in Q3 2025).
When the new post-security Ansbacher Hall opens with the East Checkpoint, travelers who have passed through screening in the West and East Checkpoints will have secure access to Concourse A via Ansbacher Hall and the A-Bridge so they can more easily and quickly access Concourse A without having to get on the train. Bridge Security will no longer be needed as passengers will have already been screened. Arriving passengers will also have the ability to traverse through this new sterile corridor and will be able to exit near the West and East Checkpoints to baggage claim or ground transportation.
A separate pre-security corridor of Ansbacher Hall will run parallel to the secure corridor providing access to the DEN administrative office in the Airport Office Building.
Concourse trains will continue to provide service between the Terminal and all three concourses.
The following phases will occur:
Phase I: Starting Nov. 11, both the A-Bridge and Ansbacher Hall will be closed for overnight construction activities from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m., Monday through Thursday nights, through the opening of the East Checkpoint in Q3 2025. During closures, all travelers must use concourse trains to journey to and from the Terminal. Up to date information on security checkpoints can be found at flydenver.com.
Phase II: Starting Dec. 9, TSA will no longer operate Bridge Security on a regular basis. Screening equipment will remain in place in case there is an urgent need to use the checkpoint, but the lanes will not be staffed, and the checkpoint will no longer be operational. A-Bridge and Ansbacher Hall will remain open for arriving passengers and employees accessing the Airport Office Building.
Phase III: Starting in Q3 2025, the new East Security will open and Ansbacher Hall and the Bridge Security will be converted to a post-security area allowing access for arriving passengers accessing the Terminal from the concourses and for departing passengers who have been screened at either the East or West Checkpoints.
“Once the East Security Checkpoint is complete, DEN will have two new state-of-the-art checkpoints with the latest technology to process more travelers safely and efficiently, allowing us the ability to comfortably serve 100 million annual passengers over the next several years,” said DEN CEO Phil Washington. “Opening this corridor to all screened passengers provides more options for travelers to walk to Concourse A without having to get on the train, although they can still ride the train if they choose.”
