Starting Dec. 9, 2024, TSA will no longer operate Bridge Security on a regular basis. A-Bridge and Ansbacher Hall will remain open for arriving passengers and employees accessing the Airport Office Building. Departing travelers must use West Security Checkpoint or South Security Checkpoint.

The existing off-ramp from inbound Peña Blvd. to Jackson Gap is closed for construction. While a temporary off-ramp is available, construction activity may cause travel impacts. Drivers on Jackson Gap will not be able to travel westbound on E 75th Ave. to the Pikes Peak shuttle lot. Detours are in place.

A-Bridge and Ansbacher Hall will be closed for overnight construction activities from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m., Monday through Thursday nights, through the opening of the East Checkpoint in Q3 2025. During closures, all travelers must use concourse trains to journey to and from the Terminal.

DENVER – May 17, 2024 – Yesterday Breeze Airways inaugurated nonstop service between Denver International Airport (DEN) and Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport in Providence, R.I. (PVD). With these new flights to a previously unserved city, DEN is now connected nonstop with destinations in 46 U.S. states.
“We are pleased to welcome Breeze as our newest airline partner,” said DEN CEO Phil Washington. “Our work to expand DEN’s air service network, part of our Vision 100 strategic plan, continues to show positive results, benefitting local travelers and visitors alike.”
Passengers traveling between Denver and Providence on Breeze can expect Seriously Nice™ service aboard Airbus A220-300 aircraft. Flights are scheduled to operate two days per week, with frequency increasing to four days per week between mid-June through early September, the peak summer travel period.
“Breeze is all about adding service between city pairs with no existing nonstop service, and this new route from Denver to Providence is a perfect example of that,” said Breeze Airways’ President Tom Doxey. “We see a great opportunity to connect one of our biggest bases with the greater Denver area, allowing our Guests to take a trip to the Rockies or connect on to other destinations.”
Breeze is the first new domestic carrier to inaugurate service at DEN since Southern Airways Express entered the market in 2021. With the addition of Breeze, DEN offers service by 24 airlines.
