Starting Sept. 22, the existing off-ramp from inbound Peña to Jackson Gap will be closed for construction. While a temporary off-ramp is available, construction activity in the area will cause travel impacts. Also, westbound traffic on 75th from Jackson Gap is prohibited. Detour routes will be in place and signs will be posted.

DENVER – Sept. 13, 2018 – Beer lovers rejoice! “Beer Flights,” Denver International Airport’s beer garden, is back for its fifth year on the DEN plaza, located between the Westin and south entrance to the Jeppesen Terminal. This popular event coincides with worldwide Oktoberfest celebrations and features some of Colorado’s top micro-breweries and brew masters.
The beer garden will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily from Sept. 14 – Sept. 24, weather permitting, on DEN’s outdoor plaza between Jeppesen Terminal and Westin Denver International Airport. Tickets are available at the door for $10 and includes a souvenir glass to taste 10, 2-ounce samples of beer. Visitors must be 21 or older with a valid ID to enter. Cash only be accepted.

“We are delighted to showcase great Colorado brews, and for the first time a Colorado cider, as part of our annual Beer Flights beer garden on the stunning outdoor plaza,” said Stacey Stegman, senior vice president of Global Communications at DEN. “This popular event truly provides passengers and our community a taste of Colorado at the airport.”
“Beer Flights” is a partnership between Denver International Airport and the Colorado Brewers Guild.
“Beer Flights is such a unique event that does a great job showcasing one of Colorado’s best assets, out craft beer community,” said Colorado Brewers Guild Marketing Director Steve Kurowski. “I love it because you just don’t see anything like this at any other airport, anywhere.”
A total of 10 Colorado breweries will be represented at the event and each brewery will have two beers to sample. They include:
Passengers and community members alike can enjoy local entertainment daily from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and attendees can also enjoy brew trivia, table games and more. Participating brewers will have giveaways for the attendees and Eldorado Natural Spring Water will provide bottled water, free of charge, so visitors can stay hydrated while they enjoy the beer garden.

The plaza is located pre-security, is open to the public and is accessible just steps from RTD’s A Line commuter rail station at DEN, or a short walk from the airport parking garages ($4/hour in garage parking, $5/short term parking).
