ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES   

Position Summary:  

As a Cook II at DEN, you are essential in delivering the exceptional OTG guest experience. Your responsibilities include preparing food to precise temperature, portion, and plating specifications while maintaining a clean and sanitized work area. A successful Cook II enjoys working with others and is motivated to deliver high-quality food experiences for guests. 

Responsibilities: 

• An OTG Cook II will work on the line in one of OTG’s full-service concepts  

• Prepare food to the correct temperature, portion size, and plating specifications for consistent presentation according to OTG standards. 

• Ensure all food items are ready at the same time as others on the same order  

• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment  

• Knowledge of operating all kitchen equipment (i.e., stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, kettles, etc.)  

• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional  

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members to achieve guest satisfaction. 

• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications and Requirements: 

• Must be at least 18 years of age  

• Must be fully conversational in English  

• 2+ years of culinary experience in a fast-paced dining restaurant (demonstrating moderate-level cooking skills: Quick serve, grilling, frying, etc.)  

• Knowledge of cooking procedures, safety, and sanitation  

• Able to lift 35 lbs. or more  

• Must be mobile and able to stand for extended periods, stoop, kneel, and crouch  

• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and inclement weather.
