Drivers on Jackson Gap will not be able to travel westbound on E 75th Ave. to the Pikes Peak shuttle lot. Detours are in place.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

 

Position Summary: 

As a Cook I at DEN, you are essential in delivering the exceptional OTG guest experience. Your responsibilities include preparing food to precise temperature, portion, and plating specifications while maintaining a clean and sanitized work area. A successful Cook I enjoys working with others and is motivated to deliver high-quality food experiences for guests. 

   

Responsibilities: 

  • Work in OTG’s prep kitchens and/or on the line of OTG’s fast-casual concepts. 
  • Support the back of house (BOH) by prepping ingredients for the line. 
  • Prepare food to the correct temperature, portion size, and plating specifications for consistent presentation according to OTG standards. 
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment. 
  • Operate all kitchen equipment (e.g., stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, kettles). 
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. 
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members to achieve guest satisfaction. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

 

Qualifications and Requirements:  

  • Must be at least 18 years of age. 
  • Proficient in English. 
  • 1+ years of culinary experience in a fast-paced restaurant (experience with quick serve, grilling, frying, etc.). 
  • Knowledge of cooking procedures, safety, and sanitation. 
  • Able to lift 35 lbs. or more. 
  • Must be mobile and able to stand for extended periods, stoop, kneel, and crouch. 
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and inclement weather.
