All proposers responding to this solicitation must review and comply with Denver International Airport’s (DEN) data requirements. DEN data requirements are available for review below, and any data requirements specific to an individual solicitation will be specifically addressed in that solicitation. Proposers are expected to proactively support DEN’s data needs throughout the lifecycle of the contract.
If a proposed contract or scope of work does not involve the generation, use, or exchange of data, proposers must explicitly state this in their response to proposal. DEN reserves the right to validate this determination and may request additional clarification.
The following are minimum expectations for data access, integration and governance in DEN solicitation responses and awarded contracts.
Data classification and handling. Proposers should collaborate with DEN to define relevant data elements, formats, and delivery timelines. Proposers can specify types of data that will be produced and the standards that will be used to describe them.
Data Ownership. Proposers should identify ownership of data. To the extent not otherwise identified, data shall be DEN data.
Data Delivery and Access. Proposers should identify the means of delivery of, and access to, data from proposer to DEN, such as via Application Programming Interface (API) (preferred method), secure file transfer, direct database access, other means of delivery and access. To the extent possible, such delivery and access should avoid any proprietary or other restrictive technology. Proposers must also support DEN’s efforts to integrate data into enterprise systems and/or analytics platforms.
Data Security – Protection and Compliance. Proposers shall comply with the minimum requirements set forth in the solicitation and contract documents, including but not limited to protection of Personally Identifiable Information (PII), Personal Information (PI), officially designated Sensitive Security Information (SSI), information protected by the Colorado Privacy Act, Payment Card Industry (PCI) data, Criminal Justice Information System data, and all other applicable laws and regulations.
