TRAFFIC ALERT: Overnight lane closures will take place June 14-18 from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. on inbound Peña from E470 to Jackson Gap and outbound 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Lane closures will also take place on outbound Peña (leaving DEN) near the West Terminal from June 15-19, from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night. Please use caution and drive safely.

Community Advisory Committee Applications are Closed for 2026

All openings on DEN’s Community Advisory Committee have been filled for 2026. Please do not submit any applications. Any new openings will be announced.

DEN Community Advisory Committee (CAC) carries forth Denver International Airport’s (DEN) vision of providing excellence in service and support to the public.

The CAC provides insight, guidance and advice to advance DEN’s global reach, competitiveness and reputation as a leader in aviation as we prepare for 100 million annual passengers in the next several years.

The committee consists of community members representing each county in the Denver metro and Boulder market areas. Representatives should reflect diversity in race, ethnicity, gender identity, national origin, age, ability, religion, sexual orientation, experience and perspective regarding issues such as travel, customer experience, business, construction, environmental transportation and tourism.

General Qualifications for Community Advisory Committee Members

  • Users of Denver International Airport
  • A resident of Colorado for five years or more
  • Active in their community, but cannot be an active elected official or a member of the media
  • Cannot be a current employee of DEN or an airport business
