BUSINESS and COMMUNITY

Do Business with DEN

The Commerce Hub’s mission is to serve as a resource for small businesses.

The Commerce Hub champions efforts that improve policy, increase access, and position firms to bid on projects across all DEN departments.

There are three primary areas that operate within the Commerce Hub: ACDBE Program, Business Learning and Development, and Community Outreach and Engagement.

What does the Commerce Hub oversee?

The Commerce Hub oversees small businesses across DEN. Their work ranges from community outreach to business learning, development initiatives, and equity in commerce. Learn more about all the Commerce Hub manages below.

Industry and Community Associations

Below is a partial list of various industry, community organizations, and associations that are available as additional resources. If you would like to add your organization to this list, send an email to [email protected].

Business Directories

The Business Directories are a non-exhaustive list of large, small, certified MWBE/SBE/DBE/ACDBE, and non-certified firms. They are for informational purposes only and in no way constitutes an endorsement or guarantee of any kind by DEN or the City and County of Denver. The directory is a resource for architects, engineers, construction, professional services, and goods and service businesses that are currently working or have previously worked for DEN in the last five years. This directory will be continuously updated with current information.

Find a Business Event to Attend

The DEN Commerce Hub holds outreach events to promote and support historically under-utilized multi-cultural businesses. This includes small businesses and those owned by minorities, women, veterans, LGBTQ+, and individuals living with disabilities, as well as those in economically distressed or redlined neighborhoods. The goal of these events is to help these groups participate in DEN concession leases and contracts (e.g., construction and professional services).

Speaker Scheduling Request

Is your organization looking for a speaker at an upcoming meeting?

We sincerely appreciate your request! Please be aware that due to the enormous volume of invitations received, we are unable to accommodate all of them.

If your submission is successfully received, you will receive an email confirmation. The Commerce Hub Scheduling Office will contact you six- to eight-weeks prior to the requested event or meeting to notify you of DEN’s availability.
