** IMPORTANT ** NEW REQUIREMENTS FOR BADGING **
***FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE BELOW REQUIREMENT WILL PREVENT BADGE ISSUANCE***

In preparation for Airport Security's new Identity Management System, we are required to review all citizenship and work authorization documents for ALL Airport ID badgeholders during the badge renewal or replacement process. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, ALL Airport ID badgeholders are required to bring the following documents to the Airport Security Badging Offices during the badge renewal or replacement process:

  • Current DEN Airport ID badge AND Two forms of unexpired government issued identification
  • One form of government issued ID must be unexpired and include a photo to establish identity
  • One form of government ID must establish citizenship (U.S. citizens) or employment authorization (non-U.S. citizens)

U.S. citizen document examples:

  • Valid U.S. Passport or Valid U.S. Passport Card
  • Original or certified copy of birth certificate

Non-U.S. citizen document examples:

  • Permanent Resident Card
  • Alien Registration Receipt Card (Form 1-551)

If an employee has a driving endorsement on their DEN Airport ID badge, the employee must also bring a valid driver's license (this can fulfill the requirement for a government issued photo ID). NOTE: IF names are not matching on all documents, the employee must bring in supporting documentation showing the legal name change (copy of marriage license or other court documentation).
