Peter Barta grew up in a very small town in Minnesota (and the answer is YES, he loves the snow). He attended college at Mankato State University Minnesota, graduating with a BFA in Photography. Towards the end of college he worked at the Mankato Free Press as a photojournalist, which provided great experience with news, event, sports, and portrait photography. He also has a passion for nature and wildlife photography, which has taken him to some great locations around the world, including Nepal, Kathmandu, Bangkok, Iceland, and many national parks across the United States. Barta went on to become Senior Photographer/Creative Liaison at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. In 2019 Barta and his wife moved to Colorado, which they see as their ideal home. Barta is currently the Integrated Media Producer at Denver International Airport.
