The existing off-ramp from inbound Peña Blvd. to Jackson Gap is closed for construction. While a temporary off-ramp is available, construction activity in the area may cause travel impacts. Drivers on Jackson Gap will not be able to travel westbound on E 75th Ave. to the Pikes Peak shuttle lot. Detours are in place.

Denver Animal Protection (DAP) provides animal care and protection services for all of Denver County. We foster the human-animal bond by protecting the safety and welfare of Denver’s animals and citizens. DAP is committed to providing humane care to companion animals; reuniting lost pets with their owners; adopting pets to loving homes; enforcing Denver County animal ordinances; and proactively educating the public about animals, their needs, and DAP’s critical role as a community resource. DAP operates Denver Animal Shelter (DAS), an open-admission shelter that is home to more than 7,000 lost and abandoned pets each year.

Denver International Airport (DEN) partnered with Denver Animal Protection (DAP) to feature pet education and a plethora of fun pet facts.
The exhibit included photographs of Denver pets, pet care gear, and tips and tricks for keeping pets safe at home and in the air. The pet education themed exhibit celebrated Denver’s commitment to be a pet-friendly city and the work that DAP does to protect the safety and welfare of animals and citizens.
Denver Animal Protection (DAP) provides animal care and protection services for all of Denver County. DAP operates the Denver Animal Shelter, which has one of the highest placement rates of homeless pets among municipal shelters in the U.S. In 2017, DAP cared for over 7,500 animals.
