Dedication and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Held for New USO Location at Denver International Airport

Home

DENVER – June 24, 2025 – The United Service Organizations (USO) and DEN celebrated the USO’s new location on Concourse A with a ribbon-cutting and dedication ceremony today. Their new location is located on Level 4, above the Mezzanine Level of the center of Concourse A, directly across from the old location. The new, modern space features areas for rest and recharge, Wi-Fi, food and beverage options, a children’s area and a multimedia gaming center. The space has a variety of seating options to meet the varied needs of military travelers and their families.

“DEN’s USO provides an extremely valuable space for the more than 100,000 service members who travel to, from or through the airport annually. At the USO, active military members, their spouses and children as well as military retirees can feel the care and support of USO volunteers while they connect with others in similar situations who understand the unique demands of life in the military,” DEN CEO Phil Washington said. “I am pleased to welcome them to their new, beautiful home at DEN on Concourse A.”

The USO at Denver International Airport is open to all currently serving military personnel and their dependents, U.S. military retirees with valid U.S. Department of Defense ID cards, and Gold Star Families/Families of the Fallen and their guests.

“As we open the doors to this new USO Center, we are reminded that it is not just about the facilities and services we provide. It is about creating a community of support and connections for our service members,” Linda Mays, Executive Director of USO Colorado, Wyoming and Montana said.

The USO’s mission is to strengthen the well-being of the people serving in America’s military and their families. DEN’s new USO Center will officially open its doors on June 25, 2025.
