TONIGHT: DEN Trains to the Concourses to Undergo Scheduled Overnight Shutdown. Bridge Security will be the 24-hour Checkpoint starting at 8 p.m.
DEN trains to the concourses will be shut down overnight for six hours for scheduled testing of the train’s electrical power system. Employees and passengers will need use Bridge Security, which will be the 24-hour checkpoint starting at 8 p.m. Starting at 9:15 p.m., those who need to reach the B and C concourses will be guided via signage and/or airport personnel to a bus that will take them to the concourses. These changes will be in effect from 9:15 p.m. Feb. 20, to 3 a.m., Feb. 21. It is recommended that passengers who need to get to the B and C Concourses during these hours should arrive to security at least 30 minutes earlier than they would have otherwise to ensure they have enough time to move through the airport.Follow DEN on Twitter Follow DEN on Instagram

What You’ll Do
As an intern you will get to experience:
Assisting in reviewing and analyzing metrics to measure progress in
Project intake forms
Working with Data Analysts to ensure that data is being pulled in correctly and looking for opportunities to improve streamlining the systems
Assisting the team to review data and in evaluating how programs are excelling or failing and learning how to sell programs to internal and external partners
Contributing fresh ideas with the team on marketing and communication materials that can enhance DEN brand standards
Researching community and business associations to identify if there are organizations that we are missing or not leveraging
Researching our communication and social media efforts to find our biggest ROI
Assisting in streamlining the Community Panelist process with BMS by streamlining data that is collected between both teams
Supporting teams to plan, develop, and execute outreach and engagement initiatives
Assisting management with the preparation of campaigns and reports

The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model with a required minimum of three days in office. Employees work where needed to support business, at the Denver International Airport. We do not offer housing or relocation assistance for this position.
Internship Duration and Hours
This is a 6-month college internship with a completion date of December 31st, 2024, with a maximum of 39 hours per week.
FBI Background Check
FBI criminal background check is required for all positions at Denver International Airport (DEN). Employees are also required to report any felony convictions and/or moving violations to maintain this clearance and be eligible for continued employment. By position, a pre-employment physical/drug test may be required.
