The Great Hall project is currently working on Phase 1 and Phase 2 concurrently. Phase 1 work is in the center of the terminal where crews are constructing new ticketing areas for United and Southwest, widening the balconies on Level 6, adding four new restrooms and adding 31,000 square feet to Jeppesen Terminal.
Phase 2 work broke ground this summer on the north end of the terminal and will bring exciting new security benefits to DEN! The primary focus of Phase 2 is to enhance security by building a new security checkpoint on Level 6 in the northwest corner of Jeppesen Terminal. All Phase 2 work will be done in mid-2024. However, the new checkpoint is scheduled to open by early-2024. Passengers will then have access to the new checkpoint on Level 6 as well as the north checkpoint, the existing A-bridge and south checkpoints. Additionally, the new checkpoint on Level 6 creates additional opportunities to activate previously used security space on Level 5 for new passenger amenities and improved experience.
