Am I allowed to travel using my DEN Airport ID badge at an Employee Access Portal (turnstiles) in the Main Terminal or the Airside Employee Lot?
NO! DEN has a NO TRAVEL POLICY when using any entry into the airport other than the TSA Security Screening Checkpoint in the Main Terminal (DEN Rules and Regulations Part 20).

What is the process for getting a new Airport ID Badge at DEN?
- Your company submits the online Fingerprinting and Badging Application electronically to our office one day before visiting the badging office
- You bring the appropriate identity and work authorization documents with you for Fingerprinting or STA Dropoff (Airline Employee) in the badging office (See “What do I need to bring to the Badging Office for Fingerprinting or STA Dropoff (Airline Employee)"):
- Visit #1 – Fingerprinting is the first step (Visit 1) in the badging process for new airport employees. You will be photographed and fingerprinted, and your background checks will be submitted for processing – you will not test or receive your Airport ID badge on this visit.
Please allow AT LEAST ONE HOUR at the badging office for this visit - Visit #2 - After your background checks have cleared (this may take several days), you will return to the Badging Office to complete security training and testing, and pick up your Airport ID badge
NOTE: Visit #2 must take place after your background checks have cleared, but not more than 30 days after Visit #1.

What documents do I need to bring to the Badging Office for an Airport ID badge?

If an applicant has, or will have, a driving endorsement on the DEN Airport ID badge, they must present a valid driver's license at the Badging Office.
NOTE: If names are not matching on all documents, the employee must bring in supporting documentation showing the legal name change.

When will my background check clear?
Please allow up to 15 business days for your background check to clear.
I have waited for 15 days and I still have not received my background check results. What should I do?

When can I renew my badge?
Your DEN Airport ID badge can be renewed up to 60 days prior to the expiration date shown on the badge. Your company’s Authorized Signatory must authorize the renewal in the badging computer system before your badge can be renewed in the Badging Office.
Badge Renewals must take place at the Concourse A Badging Office. Badge Renewals are not accepted at the Satellite Badging Office.

I've lost my badge. How can I get a replacement?
Report your lost or stolen badge to (303) 342-4300 immediately. You need to bring the following documents to obtain a replacement badge (all documents must be original or certified copy):

My badge is not working. What should I do?
Newly issued badge may not get recognized by badge readers immediately. Please badge the reader twice in succession. If the problem persists, please bring your badge and your government issued photo ID work authorization document to the badging office to have your badge replaced. An application is not required.
