Description: The Department of Aviation for the City and County of Denver is requesting proposals for the purpose of selecting a consultant provide architectural, engineering, and cost estimating services on an as needed basis. The task scopes of work are defined on an individual basis and will include modifications and additions to existing airport facilities and systems. These services will include facilities evaluation; testing; performing studies; architectural programming; providing preliminary designs; construction documents, plans, specifications and construction administration for various concourse additions, improvements and modifications. Four agreements will be awarded.

Click on the RFP link and you will see this project listed with the RFP documents and attachments available to download. CDs of the RFP and related documents are also available from the Technical Services Office, Room 8810, Denver International Airport, Denver, CO 80249 at a cost of $25.00 per CD. Checks payable to Airport Revenue Fund.

Proposals Due: There will be no Pre-Proposal Conference for this RFP. Proposals in response to the RFP will be due no later than 2:00 PM, LOCAL TIME, NOVEMBER 18, 2009 and must be submitted to Nathan Jones, Technical Services Office, Room 8810, Denver International Airport, 8500 Pena Blvd., Denver, CO 80249.

Minority Business Enterprise and Women Business Enterprise Participation: Professional design and construction services contracts made and entered into by the City and County of Denver are subject to Article III, Divisions 1 and 3 of Chapter 28 of the Denver Revised Municipal Code (D.R.M.C.), and all Minority Business Enterprise and Women Business Enterprise Utilization adopted by the Director of the Division of Small Business Opportunity (DSBO).

Article III, Divisions 1 and 3 of Chapter 28 of the D.R.M.C. directs the Director of DSBO to establish a project goal for expenditures on professional design and construction services work contracted by the City and County of Denver. The specific goal for this project is 12% Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women Business Enterprise (WBE) participation.
