| Question Number 1: Is there a sample work plan based on the Design Guidelines? |
| Answer: No, there is not a sample work plan available at this time. |
| Question Number 2: What is the Design Analysis Report? |
| Answer: The Design Analysis Report (DAR) is described in Design Standards Manual 1 (DSM-1), Chapter 3. The intent of the Design Analysis Report is to present a clear, complete and concise picture of the design of the facilities and systems. It is submitted along with the design, at various times, as described in DSM-1, Chapter 32, (note: also see Table 32-1). |
| Question Number 3: Do we have submit subcontractor information for all anticipated services – i.e. Lightening protection services |
| Answer: M/WBE sub-consultants need to be identified as required by the RFP, see 1-11 Attachment 1, Instructions to Proposers. Sub-consultants need to be identified as in 1-12, Attachment 1, Instructions to Proposers. Minor or specialty sub-consultants, such as lightning protection design, may be added during the contract as the need for such sub-consultants is identified. |
| Question Number 4: Will addendums to the RFP and new RFP’s be sent via email? Or posted on website? |
| Answer: Any addenda necessary are posted on the website. |
| Question Number 5: Can we use a sub consultant who is also on the Parson’s project management team? |
| Answer: Yes, such sub-consultants are allowed. See 1-12 DESIGNATION OF SUBCONSULTANTS |
