"Lightning Blues Express" is a performance series commissioned for the "Friends as Neighbors" project. Passengers will delight in Mexican artist Humberto Duque’s work as they wait for their flights in airport gate areas. The artist has curated songs of farewell which will emerge from the crowds as the performers mingle and move about the concourses while pulling a small wheeled-audio system. This roving series will begin in January, with performances planned for two days each week through the end of July 2013.
